Risk disclosure
Last updated 2026-08-23
If you trade based on anything you see on StarkEdge, understand these risks first. Trading in securities and derivatives involves risk of substantial loss, and losses can exceed what you expect.
Market risk
Prices move against positions. A setup that matched a scan can fail the next day — a scan match is a historical observation, not a prediction. Past patterns do not tell you what happens next.
Derivatives and leverage
Futures and options are leveraged instruments. Leverage magnifies losses as much as gains, and option buyers can lose the entire premium. Derivatives positions can lose more than the margin you put up. Do not trade derivatives with money you cannot afford to lose.
Data and latency risk
StarkEdge works from end-of-day data — by the time you see a plan, the data behind it is already a session old. Prices at the next open can gap far from the levels a plan was computed on. Data errors, missed corporate actions, and processing bugs are all possible; verify levels with your broker before placing orders.
System availability risk
The site, the scan pipeline, or NSE’s own publication can be late or down. Never build a trading process that breaks if this site is unavailable.
No advisory relationship
Using StarkEdge does not create an adviser–client relationship. We are not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst, and nothing here is investment advice. Your trades, their outcomes, and the taxes on them are yours.
